HOW CRIMONT LC SYRUP WORKS

CRIMONT LC 2.5/4 Syrup contains Levocetirizine and Montelukast. Together these two relieve sneezing and runny nose caused due to allergies. Levocetirizine is an antiallergic that blocks a chemical messenger (histamine) responsible for runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing. Montelukast is a leukotriene antagonist. It works by blocking another chemical messenger (leukotriene). This reduces inflammation (swelling) in the airways and nose and improves symptoms.

CRIMONT LC 2.5/4 Syrup should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of CRIMONT LC 2.5/4 Syrup may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
However, use of CRIMONT LC 2.5/4 Syrup is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.

Liver

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

CRIMONT LC 2.5/4 Syrup is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of CRIMONT LC 2.5/4 Syrup is recommended.
CRIMONT LC 2.5/4 Syrup is relatively safe to use in children. However, consult your child’s doctor in case of severe liver disease.

WHAT IF I FORGET TO GIVE CRIMONT LC 2.5/4 SYRUP TO MY CHILD?

Do not panic. Unless your child’s doctor has advised a specific regime for your child, give the missed dose as soon as you remember it. Skip the missed dose if it is almost the time for the next dose. Do not give a double dose to catch up and follow the prescribed dosing schedule.
