Introduction:
Dentoza Toothpaste foaming dental gel is used with a toothbrush to clean and maintain the aesthetics, and health of teeth and provides relief for sensitive teeth. Hypersensitivity of the tooth is characterized by short, sharp pain while taking hot, cold, sweet, or very acidic foods and drinks or breathing in cold air.
Potassium nitrate is used to prevent cavities and to reduce pain from sensitive teeth (dentinal hypersensitivity). It calms the nerves in the teeth and also the build-up of potassium ions over time helps to desensitize nerves in the tooth pulp, making them irresponsive to sensitivity stimuli. Sodium monofluorophosphate is used to protect tooth enamel from attack by bacteria.

FAQs:
What does potassium nitrate do for teeth?
It builds protection over time to help desensitize nerves in the tooth pulp. The build-up of potassium ions over time helps desensitize nerves in the tooth pulp, making them irresponsive to sensitive stimuli (e.g. cold water, hot coffee, etc.).
Does salt water help sensitive teeth?
Salt is an effective antiseptic and it can also help to reduce inflammation. To alleviate pain symptoms from sensitive teeth, gargle with saltwater twice daily.
Can over brushing cause sensitive teeth?
Yes, brushing too hard or too frequently can contribute to gum recession and/or enamel wear off, which, over time, can expose the soft, inner layer of your tooth, known as dentin, and can lead to sensitive teeth.
